Total honesty and why we chose them:
Truthbrush bristles are currently 62% plant-based Castor oil and 38% BPA-free nylon. When looking into bamboo brushes myself, I found that most brushes on the market have bristles completely made from nylon and are still being branded plastic-free; shocker! Truthbrush, as a company, are working really hard to find a completely plastic-free alternative but at the moment the only none plastic alternative would be derived from animals.
So after a lot of research, I believe these brushes are a superior alternative to a plastic toothbrush. The thought that every plastic one made is still out there, is beyond belief. This is a good replacement and is a step in the right direction.
After use:
Personally, I use them to help clean muddy boots after hiking and adventures. But why not remove the bristles to compost or even use as a plastic-free label for your homegrown veggies.
