Why we love them:

In the UK alone it’s estimated that we use 1.8 billion (mostly single-use plastic) cotton buds every year. High usage and widespread improper disposal (flushing them down the toilet, rather than putting them in the bin) has resulted in our seas and beaches being polluted by them. After Justin Hofam’s photo of a sea horse holding a cotton bud stick, went viral a few years ago, the press and many companies stood up to make a change and introduced bamboo alternatives which makes us so happy!
